Dr. Cecelia holds a doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a License as Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. Cecelia currently practicing as a therapist, trainer, and consultant in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs. At New Narratives, Cecelia offers individual therapy, couples counseling and family counseling for children, adolescents and adults in addition to consultative services for companies and organizations and clinical supervision for therapists working towards their license.
Cecelia has a broad and unique base of clinical experience and education and has a a particular passion and expertise in working with children, adolescents, individuals and families struggling with relationships difficulties. Cecelia has significant experience and advanced clinical training treating varying degrees of psychological trauma.

COUPLES THERAPY
Couples therapy is a type of psychotherapy in which a therapist helps two people involved in a romantic relationship gain insight into their relationship, resolve conflict and improve relationship satisfaction utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which you will be treated on a one-on-one basis. Individual therapy allows the therapist and client to focus on each other, building a rapport and working together to reach treatment plan goals and objectives.

SPECIALIZED TRAUMA TREATMENT
Specialized trauma treatment offers assessment, psychological treatment, and consultation for people suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and associated conditions. Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) are implemented to help reduce symptoms associated with traumatic stress.
